ABI – families and companies come back to ask for loans

According to the monthly report of the Associazione Bancaria Italiana (ABI), both families and companies are starting to ask for loans again.

In January 2014, the loan request decreasing seems to slow down, but it is too early to talk about a countertendency. According to ABI, the total amount of the carriers to the resident in Italy was of 1.853,2 billions euros (-3,3% annual variation, -3,9% in December 2014). In particular, the loans to families and companies are of about 1.416,5 billion euros (-3,9%, -4% in December). The short-term loans have decrease of the 7,5%, while the other one of 2,6%. This does not mean it is easy, but it seems to be a hope.
