“La Melodia” is a property with strong character and marked originality just 5 kilometers from Orvieto, with a wonderful view of the Umbrian city cliff.

Nature, style, details and colors harmonize perfectly in the “La Melodia” farmhouse.

A property of great charm and character, completely and finely restored, which offers a manor house, an outbuilding and a magnificent panoramic swimming pool, beautifully surrounded by its luxurious and well-kept land.

“La Melodia” amazes for the character of the interior spaces that manage to convey the current owner’s passion for jazz.

Both the manor house and the refined annex represent the perfect combination between traditional style, typical of Umbrian and Tuscan farmhouses, and a touch of modernity that gives this magnificent residence a decisive and chic line.

The Manor House

To enhance the farmhouse, the focus was on the use of a color palette focused precisely on the intensity and the winning combination of handcrafted wood, terracotta and slate.

There are many total black accents, starting with the magnificent living room located on the main floor of the farmhouse where, at both ends, you will find the captivating fireplace in black Belgian marble and the fantastic grand piano.

The same contrast, reminiscent of that of a keyboard, also characterizes the distinctive bathroom located on the same floor, where slate predominates.

The majestic mirror with golden frame dominates the stairwell that leads from the living area to the sleeping area, located on the first floor, enlarges the space and creates a play of reflections. Here we are welcomed by a double suite with bathroom and walk-in closet, two double bedrooms and an additional bathroom.

No detail is left to chance, but everything is the result of study, selection and attention to detail, to create interiors with an authentic and completely original flavor.

The Guesthouse

Entering the guesthouse, you will discover velvet and handcrafted wood as the real protagonists of this space, whose interiors have been custom-made by local craftsmen. Carefully studied choices also for furnishing fabrics, from lamps to bedspreads, everything tells a story and invites you to rest.

The color palette plays on nuances that combine brown with plum, with the addition of black velvet for the bedrooms. Velvet that also gives softness to the doors, the boiserie, the handles and many other details.

“La Melodia” was completely restored in 2008 with great attention to the rationality of spaces, materials and finishes, such as handcrafted terracotta, wooden beams, and parquet. While carefully maintaining the layout and aesthetics of the original farmhouse, the structure has been perfected in compliance with the earthquake-resistant regulations and implementing state of the art technological systems.

This property is made even more charming by its location: surrounded by almost 9,000 square meters of land, of which over 4,000 are olive groves in production, it is located on a hill overlooking the ancient cliff of Orvieto.
The swimming pool with salt system is also fantastic, even more enhanced by the solarium in wood and handmade terracotta, a relaxation area with tuff seats and a splendid gazebo.

“La Melodia” is the ideal opportunity for those looking for an important residence with strong character, located in an open and sunny location near the Umbrian city of Orvieto: a perfect area to live in, as well as an excellent starting point to discover some of the most beautiful places not only in Umbria, such as Perugia, Todi, Spoleto and Trasimeno, but also in Tuscany and Lazio, such as San Casciano dei Bagni and Lake Bolsena.
