Great Estate: a solid commitment to the community

Muoversi & non solo: Great Estate’s support for the Public Assistance of Chiusi.

In the heart of Tuscany, solidarity and attention to the most fragile segments of the population are values that distinguish the most virtuous realities. Among them, the Great Estate real estate network has once again proved sensitive to social issues, contributing to the purchase of a new means of transportation for the Chiusi Public Assistance. This important project, called Muoversi & Non Solo, aims to guarantee essential services to people with mobility difficulties.

CONCRETE HELP FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST

The Chiusi Public Assistance, active since 1984, thanks to the efforts of 125 volunteers has carried out more than 3,300 services in 2024 alone to support the most fragile people in the area. Among its main activities are the Emergency Urgency 112 service, hospitalizations, discharges and hospital transfers both within the province of Siena and outside the region. In addition, the association accompanies visits, life-saving therapies and other medical needs for the elderly, people with disabilities and citizens in need.

A NEW VEHICLE FOR AN INCREASINGLY EFFICIENT SERVICE

Thanks to the financial contribution of Great Estate and other sponsors, it was possible to purchase a new 5-seater Fiat Doblò perfectly equipped to transport people with physical and psychological disabilities. This vehicle replaces an outdated vehicle, thus ensuring a safer and more efficient service.

In addition to the purchase of the vehicle, the operating costs for the next four years have already been covered, including summer-winter tyre change, road tax, routine and extraordinary maintenance, motor vehicle liability and Kasco insurance.

THE HANDOVER CEREMONY: A TIME OF SHARING

The handover ceremony for the new vehicle was held on Saturday, March 1, at the Santa Maria della Pace Church in Chiusi Scalo. Representing the Great Estate network was Giacomo Buonavita, Italian Property Consultant and Head of the Vendors Area.

This symbolic gesture is further confirmation of the commitment of the group led by Stefano Petri to support initiatives of high social value and to be an active part of the community.
Great Estate is proud to have contributed to this project, reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for initiatives that concretely improve people’s lives.
This is a virtuous example of how companies can have a positive impact on society, demonstrating that success is also measured in the value you give back to the community.
