Meet the Professionals of Great Estate: Elizabeth Fontana

Since joining Great Estate in 2022, Elizabeth Fontana has shared her journey through international experiences, professional growth, and a people-centred approach.

INTRODUCING MYSELF

My name is Elizabeth Fontana, and I was born and raised in the United States. Coming from a large family with a long military tradition, I spent my childhood living in various places before eventually settling in Virginia, where I lived for 18 years. For almost seven years now, I have been living in the beautiful region of Tuscany, a place that I now deeply consider home.
In the United States, I earned a degree in Graphic Design and worked in the field for several years before embarking on a new professional path as a nurse. Alongside my career, I have always nurtured a strong passion for art and dance.

MY PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY WITHIN GREAT ESTATE

My meeting with Stefano Petri, CEO of Great Estate, happened completely unexpectedly in December 2021. We happened to be in the same place by chance and, during our conversation, he suggested that I join the Great Estate team to support back-office activities and English translations. I enthusiastically embraced this opportunity, also because I was already familiar with the company and appreciated its values and environment. From that moment on, I began my journey within the group, gaining experience in the real estate sector through back-office work, and more recently moving into supporting property buyers directly.

THE VALUES AND APPROACH OF THE GROUP

When I joined Great Estate, what struck me most were the values that guide the group. Above all, I feel particularly connected to the human aspect, which I believe is fundamental both in work and in life. Behind every property transaction there are people, stories, emotions, and important expectations. Supporting someone in buying their dream home or selling their property means becoming part of significant moments in their life. At Great Estate, there is genuine care for clients and a true commitment to making every stage of the process as smooth, transparent, and straightforward as possible.

PROJECTS AND GOALS FOR THE FUTURE

Looking ahead, my wish is to continue growing professionally within the company, building on the experience I have gained over time in order to offer increasingly attentive and knowledgeable support to our clients. I believe it is essential to remain open to new opportunities and to continue learning, because every experience represents an opportunity for growth. The future always holds new possibilities, and that is what makes it so inspiring.

MY ADVICE, SUGGESTIONS AND PERSONAL MOTTO

My advice:

Work hard, treat people with kindness, listen, and stay humble… Above all, remember that we are all human beings.

My personal motto is:

The greatest risk is not taking any risks.

ELIZABETH FONTANA
