It’s now going to be easier to record leases and rental contracts in 2014 because, from 3 February, everything will be managed directly on line with the new RLI format that, among other new features, will allow you to attach a copy of a contract. It will also be possible to directly access the online Agenzia Entrate tax services, either yourself or through an intermediary like an accountant or Commercialista.

Attachments must be submitted in one and you can also pay tax registration online by debiting the taxpayer’s or the intermediary’s accounts, according to the rules of the F24 form.

This online service has been introduced by the Director of the Agenzia Entrate, as part of a new approach of tax simplifications that should help most people. This form will also be made available at the offices of the Agenzia Entrate for registration of leases and rentals of properties as well as to report any extensions, transfers or resolutions.

Another interesting thing, the RLI can also be used for the withdrawal of the ‘Cedolare Secca’ and to communicate cadastral land data for properties leased or rented.

Additional information about the RLI model can be downloaded directly from the Agenzia delle Entrate website
