WHO IS MARCHETTINI CASA E GIOIELLI
Marchettini Gioielli (jewellery) was founded in 1950, when Vittorio Marchettini, along with his sister Marta, opened the first shop. In 1956, the shop moved to the historic centre of Castiglione del Lago, where it remains today.
Marta sought new opportunities further afield, and in 1960 she opened a jewellery shop in the historic centre of Rimini with her husband Francesco, while Vittorio strengthened and expanded the Castiglione del Lago shop.
In 1988, after Vittorio’s untimely passing, his daughter Barbara took over the business, continuing with determination and tenacity, and enhancing the shop by introducing prestigious brands.
Her greatest passion is jewellery, which she carefully selects with professionalism and expertise, thanks to her studies in gemology.
In 2002, Barbara decided to expand her horizons by opening Marchettini Casa (home), a new brand offering design accessories and home decor from internationally renowned brands.
The shop is located in the same building as Great Estate’s headquarters, Via Vittorio Emanuele 39/41, Castiglione del Lago.

CASE STUDY – LA GHIANDAIA
As part of a major restyling and renovation project organised by Great Synergy, the Marchettini Casa team gave a new look to the “La Ghiandaia” farmhouse, sold in Lucignano by Great Estate in March 2024. Barbara and Pamela highlighted the unique features of this farmhouse, carefully decorating and styling it with selected decor accessories to enhance each space.
