Meet Laura Molinari, Destination & Rental Specialist for Great Stays Trasimeno
INTRODUCING MYSELF
Lazio by birth but Umbrian by adoption, I arrived in Perugia to attend the Faculty of Language Mediation. However, I later earned a degree in Translation and Interpretation in English and Spanish. The university period gave me the opportunity to experience and discover the attractions of beautiful Umbria and its small villages, full of history and culture, but above all, of ancient values and simple yet unique pleasures, just like the territory they represent.
After different work experiences, always related to the world of tourism, I began an important career path that lasted 8 years: I was manager of the concierge and customer service department in a large company of tourist rentals.

In my free time I like to be in contact with nature: it has a rejuvenating power and is a panacea for the spirit. A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting the mountain bike association of Castiglione del Lago, and thanks to them I was able to discover corners of this area that I did not know previously and enjoy the many beauties of Trasimeno. In addition to biking, I enjoy taking long walks and listening to music, as well as devoting time to friends and family.
THE MEETING AND COLLABORATION WITH GREAT ESTATE
My experience in the industry, combined with a strong desire for professional growth, the need for new stimuli and the hand of fate, meant that my path crossed with that of Great Estate and Great Stays.
I met Stefano Petri, CEO of the group and was immediately impressed by his ability to put people at ease, as well as his positivity and great charisma. Aspects that, along with many others, rekindled in me that spark that had been extinguished, as well as the will to improve and make my contribution to the group’s growth.
THE GROUP’S VALUES AND METHOD
I believe that forming a company and a work group on values such as mutual respect, collaboration and acceptance of diversity of opinion is something innovative and extremely important, especially in a time like the present where, otherwise, the importance of competition at any cost and personal achievement at the expense of others is often emphasised.
I fully recognized myself in the values of Great Estate and Great Stays and immediately felt them to be my own, as well as the working method that also gives great importance to active listening through which everyone is free to express his or her thoughts with the knowledge that he or she can make his or her own contribution to the growth of the group.
PLANS AND GOALS FOR THE FUTURE
The priority goal for the future is certainly to continue my professional and personal growth in the company of qualified colleagues and above all to contribute to the growth of Great Stays in particular in the Trasimeno area, so that it can become a reality of reference for owners buyers and sellers eager to create revenue from their properties. In addition, I would like to increase partnerships with local entrepreneurs involved in the service and experience sector.
MY MOTTO
I always put the utmost effort into everything I do, because I believe that is the key ingredient in achieving any goal, in addition to daily consistency in building piece by piece.
I value listening, because it comes naturally to me to listen and also because I believe it is the best way to understand even what is hidden “between the lines,” allowing us to create an empathetic relationship with our interlocutor.
I could not say what my favorite motto is, but every time I am faced with a new challenge I think:
“Every great journey, starts with one small step.”
