Miriam Valachová and Peter Majling tell us about the recent partnership signed with Great Estate, which will bring new purchasing clients from Slovakia and the Czech Republic into the group.
With the new year, a new ambitious project of the Great Estate group kicks off, aimed at establishing collaborative relationships with international agencies operating in prestigious real estate.
The recent partnership with Miriam Valachová and Peter Majling, two professionals in the real estate sector operating in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, fits into this perspective.
In recent months, we have been receiving many requests for the purchase of prestigious properties in Italy from these countries.
Thanks to this new, successful collaboration, the Great Estate network will help realize the dream of Czech and Slovak clients as well.
We met Miriam and Peter who revealed all the details, advantages and opportunities of this partnership.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND ENTERING THE REAL ESTATE SECTOR
Miriam
I obtained a degree in foreign languages (Italian and English) at the Commenio University of Bratislava after carrying out part of my studies at the University of Foreigners of Perugia.
I then moved to Umbria, to Spoleto, where I lived and worked for 15 years, initially as part of the Community projects called Erasmus+. In the last 5 years of my stay in Spoleto, I worked in the real estate sector at the Casa Italia International agency as head of foreign client management.
I have been back in Slovakia for 14 years and I continue to devote myself to both of these activities.
In 2020, I took care of the general management of the project of an Italian investor who saw the construction of a building of 59 residential units in Banska Bystrica, a city in central Slovakia, also holding the role of sales office manager.
Peter
After graduating from law school, I worked for a group of real estate investors managing property and land transactions and acquiring new properties. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to collaborate with important Slovak companies such as HB Reavis and Orco.
Recently, I worked as Project Manager for legal and technical aspects in the construction project in Banska Bystrica which Miriam mentioned earlier.
THE BIRTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE PARTNERSHIP WITH GREAT ESTATE
The idea of giving life to this project was born together with Stefano Petri a few years ago but, at the time, very few requests for prestigious properties in Italy came from Slovakia and the Czech Republic. In 2022 finally, the situation has definitely changed!
Therefore, the need to make our collaboration concrete was evident, also considering the many differences between Italy and the two countries in the real estate buying and selling process, as well as the related linguistic gap, which the English language cannot fill.
We are certain that thanks to my knowledge (Miriam) of the markets and languages of these countries – Italy and Slovakia – combined with Peter’s legal knowledge, we will be able to offer the best possible consultancy service to Slovakian and Czech clients wishing to purchase a prestigious property in Italy.

Working in the real estate sector is very interesting and creative from many points of view, and it is the sector in which both Peter and I (Miriam) can put into practice all the knowledge and professional experience acquired thus far.
How do we look to the future?
The real estate buying and selling procedures in the Slovak Republic and in the Czech republic are different from the Italian ones and, thanks to the Great Estate network, we will be able to offer investors and, more generally, all purchasing clients the possibility to purchase a property in Italy in complete safety and serenity.
