Great Estate is proud to propose you a property where history is the protagonist: Il Castello Di Montesperello, in a walking distance from Perugia, Umbria.

The creation of its first part dates back to 608 A.C.. We are talking about Il Castello Di Montesperello (read here the property tab), an incredible Umbrian fortress located in an extremely privacy, easy to reach and panoramic position, with a 360° view on the close Trasimeno Lake and the valleys between Perugia and Magione.

History tells us how this castle, often transformed into a real battlefield, owns a very important defensive role. Anciently, the fortress was part of the so called Byzantine Corridor, the defence line that the town of Perugia, in favour to the Byzantine Empire, created against the Goths and Longboards attacks.

The beautiful Mostesperello hamlet, composed by three different units including a noble palace, is now returned to its original splendour thanks to the passion and the care of the current owners, who personally did the renovation works.

Il Castello Di Montesperello: where history echoes everywhere ..  discover it in our website.
