Renzo Piano reveals his last project. The Harvard Art Museums in Massachusetts

The latest project to be unveiled by architect Renzo Piano, is the restoration of the Harvard Art Museums in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which will be launched on the 16th of November. The renovation and expansion will provide greater access to collections which represent one of the most important art collections in the U.S. This, together with, the Fogg Museum, the Busch-Reisinger Museum and the Arthur M. Sackler Museum, guarding about 250 thousand pieces ranging from antiquity to the present day. The president of Harvard, Drew Gilpin Faust said:

Renzo Piano has designed a building that is as beautiful as the works of art it exhibits, that will allow visitors to observe the incomparable treasures of our university

While Renzo Piano goes on to explain that:

This project has a long history, founded by the then president of Harvard, Neil Rudenstine, 15 years ago. Education has always been particularly special to me and this is a very special museum, because it is a university museum, where conservation work is enormously important
