During the recent years, Sardinia stays a destination for tourists coming from all over the world, but it is preferable not only in a top of tourists’ season. One of the reasons, of course, is the increasing number of direct low cost flights, as the high visibility of Sardinia that promote its territory and interesting events all over the world. The big expansion of foreign tourists fills the gap of Italians and brings a big improvement of real estate market from tourists’ rental accommodation, especially in summer period. Italians travel mainly from June to August, while foreigners arrive in Italy also in spring and autumn and prefer to rent apartments or villas for a long period, rather than staying at a hotel. Also there are a lot of foreigners that once arrived in Italy and fell in love with Sardinia, then decided to buy a second home in this magical island of the Mediterranean.
