We asked our home stagers, Barbara Medici (Orvieto office) and Ilaria Peparaio (Città Della Pieve office, owner of Eletta Home Staging) what the trends for 2023 are, to give a touch of glam to your home.
COLORS AND SHADES
The home decor trends for autumn 2023 see warm and Nature-inspired shades as protagonists, which recall the autumn color palette: from sunset to fallen leaves, inspiration is drawn for the color palette, mainly linked to the earth, with brown and rust, or dedicated to nature, such as deep greens and intense shades of dark blue. Typical warm colors of autumn foliage are also golden yellow and a pale wine.
Among the Pantone autumn / winter 2023-2024 colors, there are lively and saturated shades that give character such as canary yellow, pink, blue, grass green, moss green and terracotta.
Energy, intensity, elegance, freshness, vitality: these are the emotions released by these colors, to be used wisely to have the perfect mix.
TEXTILES
In combination with an intense color palette capable of livening up the tones of nature preparing for winter, soft fabrics such as velvet and suede are ideal, but also natural textures and ultra-soft fabrics that give softness and a relaxing atmosphere.
Details that are even more effective if offered in neutral colors, so as to be combined in the best possible way, such as bouclé, sherpa and other “furry” materials that give warmth but with lightness.
FURNISHINGS AND ACCENTS
As for furniture and furnishing accents, natural wood stands out.
Marble and brass are also protagonists, two classics appreciated both for their charm and their colors. Yes to rattan decorations and handcrafted ceramic accessories to create the right atmosphere.
To conclude, the autumn 2023 trend sees the search for balance, a refined minimalism that prefers neutral shades but also allows brighter touches, in which nature is the protagonist.
